PLANT CARE - TIPS & TRICKS

  • How often should I water and prune my plants?
    Watering schedules and pruning all depend on the type of plants incorporated into your design, the time of year, and amount of shade in your space. After your planting your beds or supplying you with an arrangement, Laura will give you any care instructions you need and you are welcome to call her for any further questions.
  • Can I hire Fuller Color and Design to maintain my plants?
    Yes! Laura or her employees can be hired to maintain all pots, beds, or interior designs, for an extra fee. Plants can also be watered, when you are out of town.
  • If I do not own my own pots, can they be supplied?"
    Yes. Laura can shop for and supply pots and planters to match the design of your home or business.
  • Can I order arrangements to be delivered as gifts?
    Absolutely. Floral arrangements can be delivered to any home or business for any occassion.
  • My flowers died earlier than expected- what should I do?
    After creating your design, we will give you guidance on how to care for your plants and an expected time for how long they should last. However, If your shrubs or trees die earlier than you expected them to, after following all care instructions, plants can be replaced and you will only be charged for the cost of labor.

PREVENTING PESTS

To deter deer and squirrels from your plants, Laura recommends spraying Liquid Fence or Bobbex around your arrangements. Certain plants, such as Marigolds, can also be planted to prevent deer. To prevent harming bees and for the benefit of your own health, you should never use pesticides.
